You can get Home Power Monitoring. That’s already a thing, Where you connect a couple Amp clamps to the power coming into your house so you can monitor whole home power usage.

But you can go to Amazon and just enter “whole home power monitor” and there’s a number of them out there. I’m sure you can find something you like. It seems Emporia has different versions for those with 3 phase power also. That’s interesting!!! Looking again, it’s limited to 3-phase 240 volts MAX and not 480. Oh well, but for light commerial that could be an option.
This is an easy-to-use device. Simply plug the unit into a power outlet or extension cord then plug in the appliance you wish to track into the front of the meter. Yes, you can only view the LCD screen from a straight-on view. Using an extension cord will enable the user to manipulate the unit for the best screen view. The results on my first use hooked to a 30-year-old small freezer seemed to acquire accurate results. Will next try on my 2-year-old LG refrigerator/freezer. That's the good news. The bad, is the instructions are next to worthless. Best to just look at the pictures and guess at how to set your local electrical costs. There is no instruction as to how to clear the data from previous use. The instructions discuss what to do if the display "appears abnormal". The user presses the RESET button, which appears to be a hole in the unit where you would stick a small nail or pin. Something so simple to clear the data appears as a major oversight by the unit designers. But for $25 you get what you pay for....
